Cemetery Project

Sylvester 'Tippy ' Carter and his wife Loretta working with Angela at the Mt Olive cemetery mapping new burial plots. The cemetery project is being conducted by the Nicodemus Historical Society and funded by the Hansen Foundation and the Nicodemus Township. Both cemeteries are being plotted for new burial plots and mapped with all existing graves. This project will provide the Nicodemus Township Board with professional guidance needed to appropriately manage the cemeteries and prevent the random burial and placement of graves and urns, or burials on top of existing graves.
